I've compiled this list of free and low-cost resources to help you and your family thrive. Remember, asking for help is a sign of strength, and these programs, offers, and guides are designed to support you on your overall wellness journey.

Financial & Nutritional Support

WIC (Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children):

​

What it is: WIC provides free healthy foods, nutrition education, and breastfeeding support. It's available for pregnant women, new mothers, and children up to age five who meet income guidelines.

Medicaid and CHIP (Children's Health Insurance Program):

Community Health Centers:

What they are: These centers provide a range of medical, dental, and mental health services on a sliding scale based on income, regardless of a person's ability to pay.

Maternal & Mental Health
National Maternal Mental Health Hotline:

What it is: A free, confidential, 24/7 hotline for pregnant and new moms experiencing mental health challenges. It's staffed by trained counselors who can provide support and referrals.

Postpartum Support International (PSI):

What it is: PSI offers direct peer support, online support groups, and a provider directory for those dealing with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs). Their helpline is a great place to start for information and encouragement.
