BODi's 10-Minute Beginner Review

Let's be honest, moms. The idea of a 60-minute gym session often feels like a punchline to a very unfunny joke. Between school drop-offs, laundry, and trying to remember what you ate for breakfast, fitness usually slides to the bottom of the list.

But what if you could feel stronger and boost your mood in just 10 minutes a day?

Enter BODi's 10 Minute Beginner program with Lacee Green. It’s a total game-changer for us moms who need to reclaim our health without the burnout. Keep reading for my BODi 10 Minute Beginner review!

The "No-Excuse" Solution: Microdose Fitness

This program is built on the concept of Microdose Fitness: small, science-backed bursts of movement. Research shows that 10-minute bouts of activity can improve heart health and mental well-being just as effectively as one long session. For us, 10 minutes is that "sweet spot" during nap time or right before the morning chaos begins.

Meet Your Guide: Lacee Green

Lacee isn't just a NASM-certified trainer; she's a mom herself. She understands the physical and mental hurdles of motherhood. Her energy is inclusive, and she’s joined by a modifier (Claudia) who demonstrates even gentler versions of moves using a chair—perfect if you're returning to fitness postpartum.

Why It’s Ideal for the "Mom Life" Schedule

  • Zero Intimidation: It’s "For Beginners Only." Lacee breaks down every move, from squats to lunges, so you never feel lost.

  • Progressive, Not Punishing: This 4-week program starts with the basics and slowly ramps up, building your confidence alongside your strength.

  • Minimal Space Needed: You don't need a home gym. If you have enough room to step side-to-side without hitting the coffee table, you’re good to go.

The Gear: What’s in the Bag?

One of the best parts is that the equipment is small and "toddler-safe" (no heavy iron weights rolling around!).

  • Resistance Loops: These circular bands are the star of the show. They "wake up" your muscles and provide constant tension without being clunky.

  • Light Dumbbells: A simple set of 3lb, 5lb, or 8lb weights is all you need for the strength days.

  • A Sturdy Chair: Used for balance and making moves more accessible.

  • Yoga Mat: Optional, but great for keeping your knees happy on hard floors.

My Take On This Program

I love the idea of this program, especially for those who need an entry point to exercise. I feel that 10-minutes is a more encouraging place to start. You can go at your own pace or challenge yourself to follow the 4-week program. Lacey is such a down to earth and motivating kind of fitness trainer. She's one of the best there is!

Ready to Start Your 10 Minutes?

If you’ve been sitting on the sidelines because you’re overwhelmed by the time commitment, this is your entry point. It’s about health esteem and proving to yourself that you can show up for YOU. I hope you enjoyed my BODi 10 Minute Beginner review.
